Dinosaur Safari Crazy Golf
At Sawyer Fielding, we take the service we provide very serious. However, we don’t always take ourselves seriously.
On one of our team social events, we went to the Dinosaur Safari Crazy Golf centre in Borehamwood. The website advertises it as –
“18 holes of action-packed adventure golf. Plenty of dinosaurs and a great way to spend a few hours. Enjoy a prehistoric thrill and compete for glory in the shadow of ancient predators at Dinosaur Safari. If you’re looking for an adventure with bite, challenge yourself to survive our course and book today”.
For the first half of the course, Jonathan Nesbitt (Jono) edged out our Director Dan Knowles, with the two competing for first and second place. Obi Chianumba was shortly behind with Jess Moss, Karan Sehdev and an excitable Natasha Lamptey trailing behind. As we progressed towards the end, Dan bottled it on one hole whilst Jono piled through with a couple of birdies, winning at a canter. Obi pulled it back to finish equal second with Dan and a freaky hole in one for Natasha saw her leaping with joy and finishing ahead of Karan.
Preparation is essential in everything we do in work. Less so at Crazy Golf except for Jono who later disclosed that he had checked out the course beforehand. Fair is fair though – the best man won (ahem!).
